Wow...I just stopped crying and I'll probably cry more once it actually hits me full on.

One of my dogs is dead.

For those of you who know me, personally, it's Smokey, the min-pin. He had his belly ripped out by a coyote. I'm not sure of the exact details, like where it happened or if the coyote had hopped the fence into our yard to do it. He's still in one piece and I'm not sure if Vaughn found him outside, dead already...

Frankly, I can't face anyone of my family right now to ask. I know it seems silly to be discussing this on DA, but so few people even read my journals, so I figure it's okay.

Synthia's not home yet...man, she's gonna be a wreck when she finds out.

I just realized I'll never be able to tell smokey to quit his yapping, or call him a twinkie with legs or grab his snout and play with him or even tell him to get off the couch.

I'll never even be able to scratch his chest and make his leg go crazy. I didn't even get to pet him once today. I was holed up in my room studying.
